How the waitlist uses your email
A short notice for the waitlist only. The full privacy policy replaces it before the app opens.
- What is kept
- Your email address and the language of the page you signed up on. No name, no IP address, no device details.
- Why
- To send two emails: one to confirm the address, and one on the day CryptoSF opens. Nothing else, and never to anyone else.
- For how long
- An address you do not confirm is deleted after 7 days. A confirmed address stays until you unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes it at once.
- Who handles it
- CryptoSF stores it. An email delivery service sends the messages and sees the address only to deliver them. The emails have no tracking pixels.
- Protection from abuse
- To stop floods of sign-ups, a one-way fingerprint of the network address is counted for up to an hour, and one of the email for up to a day. The originals cannot be rebuilt from them.
- Your choices
- Every email carries an unsubscribe link. Opening it deletes the address.
